By accessing and using pattern split, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, you should not use this service.

3. Description of service

pattern split is a web-based service that converts fashion pattern files (DXF format) into printable PDF documents optimized for home printing on A4 or A3 paper sizes.

4. User accounts

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• One account per person; multiple accounts are not permitted

5. Credits and payment

• Our service operates on a credit-based system
• Credits are consumed based on the number of pages generated (1 credit = 1 page)
• Account retention and credits:
  • Credits never expire for active accounts
  • In compliance with GDPR data retention policies, inactive accounts may be closed after 24 months without pattern conversions
  • Account closure includes deletion of all associated data, including remaining credits
  • We will send email notifications at 18 and 22 months of inactivity before account closure
  • In the event of service discontinuation, we will provide 12 months advance notice to allow credit usage
• Credits are generally non-refundable except in cases of service discontinuation
• Payments are processed securely through Stripe
• All prices are in Euros and include applicable taxes

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Upload files that contain malicious code or viruses
• Use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Share your account credentials with others
• Upload copyrighted material without permission
• Use automated tools to abuse the service

7. File processing and storage

• Uploaded files are scanned for viruses before processing
• We temporarily store your files only during the conversion process
• Pattern files are automatically deleted immediately after processing
• Generated PDFs are available for download for 7 days, then automatically deleted
• We do not claim ownership of your uploaded files

8. Service availability

While we strive to maintain 99% uptime, we do not guarantee continuous availability of the service. We may perform maintenance that temporarily interrupts service.

9. Limitation of liability

pattern split shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for credits in the past 12 months.

10. Intellectual property

• You retain ownership of your pattern files
• We own the rights to our service, software, and website
• You grant us a limited license to process your files for conversion purposes

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time through your account settings.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by Lithuanian law for services provided by GIJA HUB MB and Italian law for services provided by MB Design di Bagalini Marco, with both subject to applicable EU regulations including GDPR.
